Here comes the sun

Happy new year to you and your friends! Maybe you will send some happy new year greetings from Jargong, I know I will..

It´ll be an exciting new year! In the first quarter you´ll see more what we have planned for Jargong! The road map is growing every day.

We aimed to release beta version 0.5.0 on the 5th of January but we will delay it a couple of days. We´ll get it ready in time but we need a few more days to test all the new functions, prepare the web and move things to other servers. But expect a release sometime in the second week of January. Sorry for the delay.

What to expect in 0.5.0:

* Totally rewritten network code so everyone (atleast most people) that had trouble connecting to our Instant Messaging server with the first version will love 0.5.0.
* Faster navigating to next unread message by pressing < > keys or from the menu.
* Change nickname and your avatar directly in Jargong (as many of you wished for!)
* Support for some Nokia phones (It looks quite nice on N73..)
* And that great new thing that I can´t talk about yet... err.. .. but I think many of you will like it!

Keep up the good work emailing us suggestions and feedback. (We´ll try to move the activity more and more to the forum in the future)

Two Weeks with Jargong

Two weeks and growing along..

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that downloaded and tested the first early beta version of Jargong. We learned a lot this past 14 days.

Now it's time for You to tell us what you like and don't like about Jargong (and of course the things that doesn't work.....).

The forum and blog is for you so please don't hesitate to contribute. We would like to build a strong community around Jargong and develop the features and services you want.

We're polishing the new beta version of Jargong right now. I can't tell you exactly when we'll be releasing it but I can reveal that you´ll probably understand more what that strange "My photos" option in the main menu are for..

If you got any requests of new features that we must include let us know right away and maybe maybe we have time to include them in the upcoming beta version.

Today we open up our forum

Today we launched our new support forum with the intention to be able to open up for better communication with our users.

Post any questions, feedback, bugs or anything else in our brand new empty bulletin board. Just log in with your Jargong-account and start posting.
